Round and about for Mo's challenge

This week at Bells and Bronte's challenge they want you to make a round card. I don't make many round cards and I went for an easle card for this one. I am not convinced that it has worked to be honest I feel kinda like it is missing something but it was good to challenge myself and I will try to work on round cards more and get better at them.
I used the super cute hamster image called "Birthday Hamster" (This is the link to the old shop as can't find it in the new one :( ) I have coloured him with the following pro and flex markers....

Hamster: Cinnamon, Spice, Apricot, Oatmeal, Vanilla
Cake: Putty, March hare, Light fawn, Morning mist, Daffodil bloom, Vanilla

The papers are a mix from Up, up and away and Summer breeze First edition paper packs. The ribbon is from my stash as is the sentiment.

Gorgeous new rubbah at Crafts and Me

******Do you fancy a crafty get away? I am arranging one for October this year and there are still spaces. Click HERE for details******

I have one of the brand new beautiful Janna Prosvirina stamps to show you today. She is called Dragonfly and I think she is gorgeous! There are a whole load of beautiful new rubbah stamps coming out next week at the brilliant Crafts and Me and as normal for the first week of the new release newsletter subscribers will get 10% off of them and trust me you will want them all :D
For my card I thought I would try and keep it simple to show her off. I have inked all round the edges of the card in 3 different colours (Pool party, Lucky limeade and then soft suede) Next I stamped the Inkadinkado butterflies out randomly over my inking in soft suede to almost make my own DP.
The stunning image I coloured with the following pro and flex markers....

Skin: Saffron, Vanilla, Ivory
Hair: Gold, Canary, Lemon
Dress: Indigo blue, True blue, Surf blue
Branch: Bunt Sienna, Cinnamon
Dotty background: Meadow green, Cloud blue, Tea green, pastel green

I have then used Marianne D corners 1 dies to just kind of frame the image and glazed her wings so they shine.

I hope you all have a great rest of the weekend and that you all manged to get your hands on the new beauties when they are released.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Crafts 4 Eternity - Wonderful wings
Fairy tale - Things with wings

If you would like to get any Stampin’ Up products I can order them for you and you only have to pay £1 for postage rather than the normal £4.95. If you want to have a look at the current Stampin' Up catalogues you can see them all HERE

Going girly :D

I made this card for a good firend of mine as this little girl looks just like her 7 year old daughter (she even does ballet). She liked the card but her daughters comments were "How does she know what my knickers look like? and I would never wear bloomers!!" from the mouths of babes 'eh :D
I have printed this super cute digi from the amazing Mo's Digital Pencil several times and decoupaged it up so she is more 3D. In real life it looks much more 3D than in these pictures.
I have coloured her with the following pro and flex markers.....
Skin: Saffron, Vanilla, Ivory
Hair: Sunflower, Yellow, Buttercup
Dress: Dusky Rose, Rose pink, Baby pink
Bloomers: Dusky Rose (for the spots) and Light fawn for the shadow

If you like pro markers and colour combo's then don't forget to check out

Back to my card the paper is from First editions Up,up and away pad and I have layered the image and the first editions paper onto white paper that I coloured with a rose pink promarker so it matched with the image. The ribbon is from my stash as are the pearls and the sentiment.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Passion for promarkers - Photo inspiration ( I have used the pink, blue and yellows and the ribbon itself)
Crafty catz - Girly Time
